Fresh Thyme Farmers Market®, a rapidly growing Midwest specialty grocer focused on healthy organic products and groceries, announced today the company’s newest Minneapolis area store will open on Wednesday, April 11 at 7:00 a.m. in Prospect Park, Minnesota – 24 30th Avenue SE.
The first 250 shoppers (age 18 and older) in line on grand opening morning, will receive a free bag of groceries, marking the official start of a four-day celebration with live music, kids activities, food sampling, beer tastings and more.

To further express their commitment to the Prospect Park community, Fresh Thyme will support the East Side Neighborhood Services (ESNS) by donating sales from their Boar’s Head hot dog cart during opening festivities. Going forward, Fresh Thyme will also donate food rescue items weekly to ESNS to support local families.
Fresh Thyme will host a friends and family ribbon-cutting ceremony with prominent local officials from the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce and various neighborhood associations the day prior to the store opening, Tuesday, April 10 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. During the ceremony, a $2,500 check donation will be made to ESNS, and to YouthCARE (Youth Cultural Appreciation & Racial Equality), a multicultural organization dedicated to helping Minneapolis and St. Paul youth develop the education, employment and leadership skills needed to make a successful transition from adolescence to adulthood.
